Kappabashi Food Models
So apparently, I a food miniature collector, (for Re-ment products) and I came across this kappabashi street videos, featuring a street of food models. It's interesting, especially when I watched the videos of people demostrate how to make tempura or cabbage food models. The question is this. How are the wax models moulded? Is there any rationale behind it or is it plain moulding?
The Styling Hairspray
A few days ago, I went to Snip Avenue for hairstyling, for my birthday. So apparently what happened was that the hairdresser kept spraying hairspray onto my hair for the styling to stay for the day. But why can hairspray achieve that? That's the question.
The Giant Pudding
I was recently facinated about all these Japanese products and after Konapun, I came across a giant pudding (edible).
So people posted videos of how they open and take out the whole pudding at one go, but I here I wonder. Why can they always take out a pudding at one go while I always break my pudding into pieces when I tried to take it out from the container?

黄梨要配什么才不会割到舌头?
可乐Float/Chocolate Cola Float

想问为什么雪糕放进可乐里就会起泡泡呢?
Just last Friday, I went to have Wendys with my friends and to check out the Chocolate Cola Float. And one question came across me. Why do bubbles appear when the ice-cream is added to the cola? Is it something like the mentos and cola? (PS. picture was taken when not much soda was left)
Konapun食玩的奇妙/ The Mystery of Japanese Konapun Products
最近常常看日本Konapun食玩的示范录像。奇怪,为什么用Konapun的“海草粉”做出来的玩具放进“油”里会出泡泡?
I came across the Konapun toys by Japanese brand Bandai. Konapun is a type of powder made from seaweed extract. When water is added and we stir, the powder turns into a dough which we could shape into various types of miniature foods. So Bandai introduced this item where by we could add in "oil" (chemicals I suppose) to "cook" the konapun foods. Suprisingly, it changes colour when in contact with the "oil". Is this a chemical reaction? I suppose so. View the video of Konapun at the sidebar :)
